Super Bowl LX Preview & Best Bets (Seahawks vs Patriots)

Seattle Seahawks vs New England Patriots – February 2026

Happy Super Bowl Week!

The Super Bowl is almost here, and we’ve got a great matchup as the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriotstravel to Santa Clara for Super Bowl LX (60). Kickoff is set for 6:30 PM ET at Levi’s Stadium.

  • Line: Seahawks -4.5
  • Total: 45.5 points

Weather shouldn’t be an issue. There’s a slight chance of light rain, but temperatures are expected to be around 60 degrees at kickoff with light winds — basically perfect football weather.

How the Seahawks Got Here

Seattle put together an incredible season, finishing 14-3 and earning the #1 seed in the NFC. Home field advantage mattered, especially in the NFC Championship Game, where the Seahawks defeated the Rams 31-27 to punch their ticket to the Super Bowl.

Seattle has been one of the most complete teams in the NFL all year, and they’ve looked like a championship team when it mattered most.

How the Patriots Got Here

New England also finished the regular season 14-3, but landed the #2 seed in the AFC. The Patriots dominated their first two playoff games, then survived an ugly AFC Championship game in Denver.

That game was absolute chaos — a blizzard, low visibility, and a final score that looked like something out of 1974. The Patriots won 10-7 against a Broncos team missing their starting QB Bo Nix, and they’re headed to the big game.

Both teams deserve a ton of credit for excellent seasons and tough playoff runs.

Key Matchup Breakdown: Defense vs Quarterback Play

On paper, this is a very evenly matched Super Bowl. Both teams rank top 10 in most key offensive and defensive categories, so the game likely comes down to a couple of major X-factors.

Seahawks X-Factor: Defense (Pressure With 4)

Seattle has been outstanding all season against the run, and they consistently pressure the quarterback while rushing only four. That’s a recipe we’ve seen win Super Bowls over and over.

If Seattle can:

  • suffocate the Patriots run game
  • pressure Drake Maye without blitzing
  • keep extra defenders in coverage

…it’s going to be a long night for New England.

Patriots X-Factor: Drake Maye’s Legs

The Patriots’ X-factor is simple: Drake Maye.

Maye has been outstanding as both a passer and runner all year, and his legs are going to matter even more in this matchup. His ability to extend plays and create first downs is exactly what New England needed against Denver, and it was enough to make the difference.

If Maye can run early and force Seattle to adjust — whether that means adding a spy or changing the rush plan — things could open up in the passing game.

My Super Bowl Pick (Spread & Live Betting Angle)

I think this game is priced about right.

I do believe Seattle wins, but I’m not convinced they cover -4.5. I could easily see this being a one-score game late, so I’m staying away from the spread pregame.

Instead, I’ll look to play Seattle live if they go down early by a score or two.

This is the first Super Bowl for both starting quarterbacks, so I expect some nerves early. But once the game settles in, I think both QBs loosen up — and that’s when the points start coming.

Best Bets: Quarter Overs & Second Half Points

We are due for an electric Super Bowl, and I think the Seahawks and Patriots are poised to deliver it.

Rather than forcing the full game total, I love the quarter and half over angles, because I expect the scoring to pick up as the game goes on.

✅ My Favorite Super Bowl Bets

  • 2nd Quarter Over 13.5
  • 2nd Half Over 23.5
  • 3rd Quarter Over 9.5
  • 4th Quarter Over 12.5

If those hit, we’re likely getting very close to — if not clearing — the full game over 45.5 as well.

Touchdown Scorer Parlay Picks (Anytime TD)

If you like touchdown scoring parlays, these are my favorite bets to make. More risk, more reward.

I’ll be combining these five players in different 3-player anytime touchdown configurations:

  • 2 Patriots + 1 Seahawk
  • 2 Seahawks + 1 Patriot

Anytime Touchdown Scorers

  • Kenneth Walker III -195
  • Jaxson Smith-Njigba -110
  • Hunter Henry +230
  • Drake Maye +290
  • Stefon Diggs +250

Final Thoughts

This Super Bowl feels like a game that starts tight and nervous, then turns into a fast-paced scoring battle once both teams settle in. Seattle’s defense is the difference-maker, but Drake Maye’s legs keep New England dangerous all game.

Good luck, enjoy the game, and happy Super Bowl week! 🏈🔥
